Unlike the previous Shadowverse anime the MC actually does lose, that's good to see, means that battles will actually have tension. So far the new MC is leagues better than the previous one, as he is nowhere near as annoying and is somewhat more mature.

Honestly you are telling me the writing for Hiro was bad. They could have fixed his character to be less annoying and made him lose. Also the reason you feel this new MC is somewhat more mature because he actually is in college while the last MC is still in high school even though this takes place 2 years after the last series.

I dont mind mc lose it was a nice dual. Along it doesnt end up like Sevens. lol

Imagine having to sh*t on another series to praise this one lol, like the one guy that's around Yugioh sevens. If you really want to praise something you would not need to put down an unrelated series to show that this is good.

Both never losing and losing too much are BAD things. The previous protagonist Hiro never ofically lost which made him even the more boring. This lose is fine, Mc is a beginer to the game so it makes sense. As long as He gets better and do not lose all the damn time like the clown mc from Yugioh sevens, it is all good.

Again Everything has an ideal amount, both too much and too less from it would be bad, this lose makes sense and is all good as long as the MC gets better thanks to it

the math got messed up. dragon rider evolved from 2/2 to 4/4 right? piercing rune only deals 2 damage to the enemy player and enemy summon so why did dragon rider die when it got hit by piercing rune if it only deals 2 damage? I'm pretty sure 4 - 2 = 2 and not 4 - 2 = 0 right? therefore dragon rider can still take the crimson spell instead of the player taking the 3 damage right?

ShirokumaKun • 1 year ago

he used it to trade with her 2/2 follower so its defense already down to 2
and crimson spell is targetable on anything, no need to target follower that still alive first before targeting player directly

MC has psyqualia

Darkerooz • 2 years ago

yeah im probably gonna think of this as the new yugioh series. as sevens, the one after that, and the shadowverse beforehend were all very boring.
but this one is pretty cool so far

Yeay, So happy the dorky mc lose

Dazed • 2 years ago

Good thing someone gave this kid a very forgiving deck when it comes to blundering plays.

So, how did Shinobu meet this rabbit gentleman? Seems like an odd pair.

Kurushise • 2 years ago

if he is the president of her shadoba club she met him in the shadoba club, duh

Dazed • 2 years ago

He is a digital being that appears from a weird magical orb. Why would it be a president of some school club in the first place?

Do you often meet digital people in your club?

Leinard Mora Sigalingging • 2 years ago

that digital avatar dude? dudette? probably used to appear by themselves in public, but something happened and now they appear that way. one of the ending clips has someone in front of a high-end setup of computer in a dark room, implying whoever that is in that clip as the real face behind the avatar.

having someone who only appears as vtuber model as your club's president would probably set a bad image to the club, so Shinobu had to pick up the slack as pretend-president

Kurushise • 2 years ago

im not in the shadoba club and i do not have my digifriend so i do not know

Kurushise • 2 years ago

shadoba, lets go!

IStandAlone Roronoa Zoro • 2 years ago

Kind of annoying, I was hoping the guy wins and then her character could have joined their club! This MC is already weaker than the previous one, because he was a beginner too but he always won in the end somehow! :(

HolyNova Entertainment™ • 2 years ago

The previous protagonist was never a beginner, they knew how to play the game but just didn't have a Deck/Phone to play. This new protagonist is a legit beginner.

its always great when the female mc beats the male one hopefully this isnt going to be her only win tho like how they did yuzu in yugioh arc v when she beat yuya
